happyHad another sonogram this morning. I'm 8 weeks now. The baby is doing fine and getting bigger! We can now see a definite shape, the head, a torso, 2 liitle arms and legs. There is a little something to worry about though: bleeding. I had stopped bleeding but I'm spotting sometimes. The sonogram shows some blood in the uterus, right next to the amniotic sac. The spotting is kind of brown and the doctor said it's old blood and it's drying up. But she said I need rest. Not to stand for too long and to keep my feet up. So no more work. You don't know how relieved I am that the baby's ok. Couldn't sleep all week! The doctor asked us if we considered getting an amniocentesis (I'm 35). We are considering it but still have to think about it because there is a chance of miscarriage with that test. Any one has any opinion on getting an amnio? Let me know!
